When a car gets a flat tire on a busy highway, it creates an incredibly dangerous situation, regardless of the time of day. The driver can take all the safety precautions possible, putting on their flashers and pulling as far off the road as possible, but with vehicles flying by at speeds up to 80 miles per hour, tragic car accidents resulting in wrongful deaths happen all too frequently.
An accident investigation continues in the multi-car collision that occurred at the end of December. The car accident involved six vehicles and took place on Rockville Pike and the intersection of Edmonston Drive and Congressional Lane.
Not all vehicle accidents that cause serious injuries and lead to potential lawsuits occur on the roadway. He may also soon be facing personal injury lawsuits, similar to lawsuits related to car accidents, for the injuries suffered due to his alleged negligence.
A major motor vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 68 last week when the driver of an 18-wheeler apparently became ill while driving and lost control of his truck. The semi-truck reportedly swerved quickly to the left while traveling eastbound on I-68 striking an SUV and sending it over a concrete divider and into the westbound lane of traffic.
