Maryland drivers involved in crash that sends two to hospital

There are a number of hazards that Maryland drivers must pay attention to while driving. Pedestrians, speeding cars and also slower cars are all things drivers must keep an eye out for and avoid. While drivers usually do not anticipate being a victim of a car accident, it is an unfortunate reality to driving. Some accidents may cause only minor injuries, but all too often accidents can result in serious injuries that have the potential to forever alter the lives of the victims.

The lives of at least two Maryland residents will likely altered after first responders from Bay District's Sheriff's Office were dispatched for a car accident in Hermanville late Friday morning. The accident occurred when a mini-van travelling in the southbound lane collided with a second mini-van travelling west at the intersection.

Witnesses reported to the first responders that the mini-van struck the other mini-van which sent it flying into the front end of a large truck that had stopped at the intersection's traffic light. First responders transported both mini-van drivers to a local hospital.

Depending on the outcome of a potential police investigation, if the driver in the southbound mini-van is found to be at fault for the accident, then the driver could face civil charges from the injured party. Anyone that is injured in a car accident may wish to file a personal injury claims against another driver. Such a claim can compensate the injured victim for medical bills, physical disability, lost wages and potentially pain and suffering from the accident.
