Maryland car accident injured seven

Maryland drivers understand the dangers that exist on the roadway at all times. Some of those dangers are due to inexperienced or negligent drivers while some are simply due to bad luck. Recently Maryland Delegate Don Dwyer was involved in a car accident in Pasadena that resulted in smashed up cars.

The accident occurred before 10:30 am when a woman from Glen Burnie was attempting to make a left-hand turn at a red light and drove into the path of the Maryland Delegate's vehicle. Dwyer's car struck the passenger side of the woman's car. Neither driver required immediate medical treatment at the scene.

Police at the scene cited the woman for failing to control her speed to avoid collision and failure to obey a traffic control device. This accident only adds to the bad year the Delegate has been having. He was recently arrested for driving while impaired and a second time for being drunk while operating and crashing a boat.

Maryland families know that a person's life can be significantly impacted when they are in a car accident. Even if a person does not immediately suffer injuries from an accident at the scene, injuries may develop or get worse over time, resulting in growing medical expenses. Maryland residents and their families affected by such incidents may find a personal injury attorney's aid advice be helpful. In addition, an experienced attorney may be able to negotiate a settlement for financial compensation for lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages.
