$50 Million Lawsuit Filed in Relation to 2008 Helicopter Crash

A woman that managed to survive a horrific helicopter crash in 2008 recently filed a $50 million lawsuit against the Federal Aviation Administration. The suit alleges that the FAA's negligence resulted in the crash that caused her to suffer serious injuries and resulted in the death of four other people.

Death of 6-Year-Old in Fall From Bus Still Being Investigated

Police and school officials are reportedly still investigating the death of a 6-year-old boy who fell from a school bus last week. The incident occurred on Wednesday when the boy fell out the back emergency exit of a school bus and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Two days later, he was declared legally dead and was taken off life support.

Winter Weather Contributes to Car Accidents Across Maryland

Slippery roads, congested highways, and numerous car accidents were the result of snow flurries hitting Central Maryland late last week. Settlement in Birth Injury Case Gives Hurt Family Compensation

In 2000, an expectant mother was in labor at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital when her physician and nurse failed to determine the presentation of the baby's head. They also failed to diagnose that the expectant mother was experiencing cephalopelvic disproportion, a condition that means the baby's head is too large to fit through the mother's pelvis in natural childbirth.
